&lt;p&gt;Now, you all know where I stand on booze in breakfast treats (big fan.. big big fan), so these were delicious, right up my street. Even more so if you follow Steve&amp;#8217;s advice:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;em&gt;But not just one kind of rice crispy cake, not even two kinds&amp;#8230; but &lt;strong&gt;THREE&lt;/strong&gt; kinds!&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So I decided to make mince pies with a cheeky addition of apples and cherries, and then I remembered there are some people out there who dislike mince pies (and I in turn dislike them) so I decided to make lemon curd and make lemon tarts, and then on top of everything else I went for some lemon crunch shortbread-style biscuits. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In David&amp;#8217;s words: &lt;em&gt;&amp;#8220;Its Raspberry and Peach cake - with an apricot glaze. &lt;/em&gt;&lt;em&gt;Never made it before, I don&amp;#8217;t even like raspberries!&amp;#8221;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
